Safe in Woodbridge was created by concerned residents and property owners to discourage crime in the Woodbridge neighborhood. At the moment, SIW is focused on creating community, sharing information, and developing connections with the police department to reduce crime and vandalism. Future plans may include a neighborhood watch or CB patrol.

The officers on the Safe in Woodbridge Board of Directors are:

Elizabeth Sutton, Corresponding Secretary
Jan Dijkers, Recording Secretary
Francis Donner, Treasurer

The at-large board members are Matthew Weiser, Jerry Dajnowicz.

Any member of the community or those with an interest in the community are welcome at meetings, which are generally held on the last Tuesday of each month at the Frederick Douglass branch of the Detroit Public Library or the 4731 Gallery at 6:30 pm.
